POTENTIAL DAYS OF PREGNANCY LOST

historic

The "Potential Days of Pregnancy Missed" (DPGP) survey: an innovative measure of gestational age to assess interventions and maternal and child health outcomes is a survey that began with the understanding that each day of pregnancy is less than 40 weeks (or 280 days) ) complete, negatively impacts the health of babies. We propose a simple indicator, with great explanatory potential in the prognosis of mothers and babies, which can be used as a continuous variable, with data already available in health information systems.

The project was part of the so-called Grand Challenges Explorations - Brazil. Data Science to Improve Maternal and Child Health in Brazil; being financed by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - process number OPP1201939- and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) - process number 443775 / 2018-4.
